Prof. Patrick Axon

Patrick Axon is an Otologist and Skull Base Surgeon based in Cambridge. He leads the East of England Cochlear Implant Unit and the National NF2 service based in Cambridge. Patrick is Chair of the UK National Vestibular Schwannoma Audit. He actively participates in clinical based research and has a particular interest in the otological effects of raised intracranial pressure including pulsatile tinnitus.

Prof. James Bowman

Associate Professor James Bowman is a skull base head and neck surgeon based in Brisbane Queensland Australia. He did a fellowship at Guys Hospital in London covering both lateral skull base and head and neck cancer, followed by further skull base training both anterior and lateral in Bergamo Italy with Professor Giovanni Danesi before returning to be appointed at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He is the current Co-director of Skull base surgery and a member of the head and neck cancer multidisciplinary unit.
