Dear Colleagues,

It is an honor to present the 110th Congress of the Italian Society of Otorhinolaryngology that will be held in Bergamo, Italy, from 22 to 25 May 2024.

The SIO Congress will be held in Bergamo for the first time and we are working with great excitement and expectations to make it a memorable event both in terms of scientific interest and as a testimony of the values of brotherhood and closeness that have always characterized our past history.

We have developed new formulas for scientific sessions in order to boost new energy into our scientific community that is a stable point of reference for us all.

The Congress venue will be the Fiera di Bergamo, at a short distance from the city center, the airport, the railway station, and the main motorways.

There will be a large exhibition area for the technical sponsors, besides innovative conference and meeting rooms that you will soon discover.

The Congress motto is “Tune in to the Future” as we always need to look ahead to guarantee the evolution and continuous improvement of our work. Future does not exclude present and past, that remain the pillars of our present good practices, but is the ever-evolving confirmation of our great tradition.

It is a great pleasure to announce that the Honorary President of the 110th SIO Congress will be Prof. Antonio Mazzoni, an outstanding master for my professional and personal life, the father of Italian Otological Surgery, a pioneer and undisputed reference of Skull Base Surgery in Italy.

A warm thank to him for honoring us once again with his valuable and enriching presence.

Bergamo is a small city with a big heart, mellow and lively at the same time, and will be an ideal location for this great scientific and social event.

We will welcome you all with great pleasure. We expect a large participation of young colleagues that will enhance their potential and offer us key insights into future scenarios.
